Hello Grandsire

Whenever you left, I could never bring myself to say goodbye

So instead I said hello

On your last day you couldn’t talk

I assured you that I would carry on your legacy

That all I needed to do was grow a beard and I’d look exactly like you

Your cheek muscles twitched and your eyes smiled

You were laughing

The next morning my brain woke up but my body wouldn’t move

Dad knocked on my door and I knew you were gone before he said a word

Hello Grandsire
